German officials made a proposal.
The Russian company Gazprom was offered to sell Nord Stream 2, the gas pipeline that extended to Germany.
According to new EU rules, the gas pipeline can be partially filled by an alternative supplier. In another case, its part, which is located in the EU, should be owned by another company.
Previously, Nord Stream AG had filed a complaint with the Regional Supreme Court in Düsseldorf, demanding the removal of Nord Stream 2 from the new EU directives. The court refused to follow up on the complaint.
The company is currently preparing for a new decision, it does not agree with the court verdict, writes RIA Novosti.
Meanwhile, the Frankfurter Allgemeine newspaper Zeitung writes that Europe is offering to sell the pipeline to circumvent the gas directive. This has been confirmed by anonymous German officials.
Recall that Germany and the United States demand to ensure the fuel supply of Ukraine after 2024 using Nord Stream 2. L & # 39; America also wants to promote its LNG in Europe.
As Topnews wrote earlier, Gazprom called 2021 the launch date for the Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline, which has a capacity of 55 billion cubic meters per year.
