Minsk explained the stopping of fuel pumping through Druzhba by an accident on the pipeline.
Transneft spokesman Igor Demin told media that Belarusian Gomeltransneft, which operates pumping oil to Poland via the Druzhba pipeline, has stopped the fuel supply since November 16.
So far only about three days the transfer has been stopped.
According to TASS, the official reason for the suspension of the fuel supply is that unscheduled repairs are underway on one of the branches of the pipeline.
Also, according to Demin, there has been no change in the pumping plans for a month.
We know that the GP & # 8220; Friendship & # 8221; the oil is supplied to refineries in Belarus, from where the fuel is supplied to Europe.
Start & # 8220; Friendship & # 8221; takes in the Samara region in Russia, then it passes through the Bryansk region and then, along different branches, goes to Belarus, Ukraine, Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Germany, Hungary, Lithuania and Latvia.
Recall that & # 8220; scheduled repairs & # 8221; began against the background of a political crisis in relations between Poland and Belarus, caused by the migrant crisis on the border of the two states.
Thus, according to Warsaw, there is 12,000 & # 8211; 15,00 refugees from Iraq, Afghanistan and other countries in the Middle East.
According to media reports, around 4,000 people gathered at the border itself.
As Topnews wrote earlier, the President of Belarus has already warned that the Yamal gas pipeline could close & # 8211; Europe in case the European Union decides to introduce new restrictive measures against his country.
Commenting on Lukashenka's intentions, the Russian president Vladimir Putin expressed hope that he would not come to this and promised to meet with his Belarusian counterpart.
